I tried two weeks of ClassPass here in Naples, FL - here’s where I sweat, stretched, and switched up my workout routine!
hi friends! I am SO excited to share with you today about the hottest (some of them quite literally) gyms in Naples! as someone who thrives on variety in her fitness routine (and gets bored way too quickly doing the same thing), I decided to finally see the hype and try out ClassPass after seeing it on my IG feed so many times. for two jam-packed weeks, I bounced around Naples, FL, sampling different gyms, boutique fitness studios, and wellness offerings so you don’t have to!
I learned that whether you're a local like me just looking to break up the usual gym routine or are an out of season visitor that wants to drop in to a studio, there’s no shortage of places to get a good sweat in. here’s a breakdown of where I went, what I loved, and what I’d do differently next time.
how I structured my trial:
this is an example of credit plans offered - but they range from 8 credits a month to 125 credits a month!
ClassPass Plan: so with a CP trial, you get 28 credits over a two week period. each class is allotted a different number of credits based on popularity, modality, time of day, etc., and you can choose how to disperse your credits! the only catch is that in the trial, you can try each gym only once - when you upgrade to a paid plan, you lose that limitation! you are then billed per month for your allotted credit number, and as shown, plans can vary in cost.
Fitness Focus: I aimed to try a mix—HIIT, yoga, mobility, Pilates, and more, since these are things I don’t normally do on my own!
THE CLASSES ⬇️
SPENGA Naples – Spin, HIIT, and Yoga
Vibe Check: I loved the SPENGA branding - motivational, clean, and crisp! the studio itself had darker vibes, to have that club-like spin atmosphere.
The Workout: SPENGA classes are a 20/20/20 format, so 20 minutes spin, 20 minutes HIIT with dumbbells, TRX, or bodyweight, and 20 minutes yoga! this class was sure to make you WERK, and I thought that 20 minutes in each zone was the perfect time frame before I got bored of what we were doing.
The Instructor: I had instructor Dwayne, and he was super welcoming and encouraging for it being my first time! he made sure to explain each workout/movement thoroughly, and kept the energy high!
Sweat Score: 4/5 💦
Would I Go Back? yes!
2. HOH Naples – Functional Strength Training
Vibe Check: this felt like a more homey gym - one large room with equipment surrounding the perimeter of the room! but the LED lights and large HOH crest made it feel legit. the Reggaeton playlist was fire, and I definitely felt at home working out as Pitbull yelled “DALE!” from the speakers haha!
The Workout: the classes at House of HIIT are like the name suggests, high intensity interval workouts! with large groups of participants, each session is designed to keep things fun, challenging, and engaging for all fitness levels. I took the “functional strength training” class, and it incorporated an array of equipment including free weights, kettlebells, barbells, and resistance bands through different stations - which I loved! the class definitely focused on making lifting functional for the day to day demands of life.
The Instructor: I had instructor David, and he was also very warm and friendly for it being my first time! he shared that HOH is a family run business, and I could definitely sense that. he made sure to give each member of the workout individualized attention and explained each movement thoroughly, while keeping the energy and motivation of the entire class HIGH!

3. Club Pilates – Cardio Sculpt
Vibe Check: the vibe of club pilates was definitely more zen and girly. the front of the studio featured a little boutique area with clothes and socks, and the studio was separated by club pilates-branded glass doors.
The Workout: on their website, CP shares that “This high-energy, low-impact class is perfect for the cardio junkie. The Jumpboard facilitates plyometric movement against customizable spring tension, rather than gravity, creating an aerobic workout that’s gentle on the joints. Quick transitions and endless class variations take your practice to a new level with each visit. Pump up your heart rate in this fun, full-body Pilates party!” I didn’t know how much of this class would be on the reformer, so I took this into my own hands and also watched some videos before I went in, so I knew what I was in for!
unfortunately, as the “cardio junkie”, this class was not for me. maybe this is just me as a 6 foot 1 girlie, but I found it difficult to focus on the workout with the loud clanging of the reformer every time I jumped back, and didn’t feel like there was a flow between exercises. this modality is supposed to be gentle on the joints, but I felt like I was straining my back more than jumping on foot! I did enjoy the off-the-reformer aspects of the workout, like using the TRX ropes or wall-springs, but this was a looooooong 50 minutes for me.
The Instructor: I had instructor Linda, and she was not as thorough in her instruction of set-up as I would’ve hoped for it being my first time. it was more just like “get on the reformer, NO not like that!” I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and it may have just been a long day for her, but if I tried club pilates again, it would not be for this class or with this instructor probably.
Sweat Score: 2/5 💦
Would I Go Back? not at this time :(
4. StudioFit Training – Mobility
Vibe Check: StudioFit is like the aesthetic gym of your dreams. they have a nice sized group fitness floor with equipment around the perimeter as well as a separate personal training area, and a cute little area with merch, towels, and drinks that is giving spa vibes. with minimalistic yet encouraging branding, StudioFit feels like the place to be.
The Workout: this was a saturday morning mobility workout, and it was definitely needed after a full week of workouts! the first portion of the class was walking stretches, and then we transitioned into guided standing and mat-based mobility exercises. this class had a total body focus, and plenty of modifications were provided.
The Instructor: I had instructor Zach, and you can tell that he is super passionate about StudioFit. he knew almost all members by name, and took the time before the workout to show me around the gym and explain the class format!

Would I Go Back? yes!
5. Core Power Barre – Hot Pilates
Vibe Check: Core Power Barre was definitely the smallest studio I visited, but it was an efficient space! located next to Tin City in the heart of Downtown Naples, this was a tucked away space to fit about 12 participants in this hot Pilates class. mirrors line both walls, with beautiful French doors that open up to the balcony!
The Workout: holy moly guys. this was one of the hardest workouts yet! not only is the class heated with infrared paneling to about 95°F, but it was ALL gas NO brakes! with utilization of a mat, bands, weights, and a Pilates ball, I didn’t know my body could burn so much. this was a glute-focused class (not my favorite haha), but the quick pace and bumping music made the class go by quickly and it felt like a good challenge. with lots of pulses and holds of movements, you think you are almost done an exercise, but spoiler alert, you’re not!
The Instructor: I had instructor Sophia, and she was very welcoming! don’t let her kindness fool you though, girl turned into a fearless Pilates leader really quick! playlist was also AMAZING and in all honestly she balanced between encouraging friend and drill sergeant instructor in the best way!
Sweat Score: 1000000/5 💦
Would I Go Back? yes!
6. ELE Holistic Movement and Flow – Cycle Sculpt
Vibe Check: ELE is a new studio in East Naples that focuses on a holistic approach to wellness with cycle, TRX, Pilates, and yoga classes, in addition to sauna. they are a more no frills open space studio with clothing, equipment, and jewelry sold in the front, and an open multi-use space in the back.
The Workout: this was my first cycle class that incorporated a sculpt/weight component for the upper body, but I enjoyed it! it was nice being able to move the legs and challenge the arms, my only struggle at the beginning was being able to coordinate the movements at the same time.
The Instructor: I had instructor Bryant, and he was super passionate about the class! he made sure to sync the cycle workout to the BPM of each song, and incorporated different movements so we didn’t get bored. he was on and off his bike and around the room to keep us all engaged!
Sweat Score: 4/5 💦
Would I Go Back? yes!
7. Pure Skill Fitness - Bootcamp
Vibe Check: another super aesthetic gym! tucked between a Panera and Food & Thought off of 41, Pure Skill was a total Technogym. they have dedicated rooms for their cardio equipment, Bootcamp, and Build It Up sessions, and the blue lights in the Bootcamp room were a total vibe! staff was very welcoming upon entry.
The Workout: according to their website, Bootcamp is “Led by experienced coaches, each 45-minute session starts with a brief stretch, followed by four structured segments featuring high-paced interval training in STRENGTH, MOBILITY, ENDURANCE, and/or CARDIO. Suitable for all fitness levels, these sessions include clear, step-by-step instructions and visual demonstrations on TV screens, along with timers that provide helpful cues to keep you on track.” this is a perfect way to describe the class, and it was easy to follow along! their high tech Technogym equipment was so cool, and I loved the self adjusting treadmills with pre-programmed cardio routines. the only thing I would say is that I do not recommend this class for beginners or someone with an intro fitness level - it was definitely challenging and no modifications were provided, at least on the on screen instructions.
The Instructor: I had instructor Alexa, co-taught by Tomas, and they were both energetic and informative! they were also very motivating throughout the workout, and provided useful cues during exercises and call outs by name - it’s always nice to be recognized!
Sweat Score: 5/5 💦
Would I Go Back? yes!
what I loved about the ClassPass trial:
Freedom to explore Naples’ fitness scene
Low commitment = high motivation to attend classes
Tried new modalities I wouldn’t have booked otherwise (hello, hot Pilates!)
what I’d do differently next time:
Book more spread out classes (not back to back days with CP sessions)
Schedule further in advance—popular studios go quick
final thoughts:
doing ClassPass here in Naples gave me a fresh perspective on wellness and helped get me acclimated to the gyms in my new home! with this app, there’s truly something for every kind of mover here. in comparison to the cost of drop in classes and even monthly memberships at each studio, you get HUGE financial savings and little to no exclusive commitment! I will be signing up for a monthly CP plan now!
